introducing...chaotic sapphic sex diaries

writing about sex is hard but i'm gonna try it anyway

I am very, very, very anxious about sex. Yes, I'm a sexual person; yes, I occasionally get the opportunity to have sex; yes, I am utterly terrified to discuss my sex life.

So I'm gonna try a thing. I've been writing a couple poems and pieces and bits and bobs where I go back to the emotions that were running through me in moments where I've had a connection with someone. Gonna come right out and call them my “chaotic sapphic sex diaries” because

suggested it and who am I to deny her advice.

This is an attempt to break out of the shame I so often feel about sexual attraction and such and turn all the things I find myself feeling in those moments into something real and artistic and, hopefully, beautiful.

Really hope you enjoy it if you're into that kind of thing. So far I've written two - “intersect” and “cartagena” - and I hope to write more as they come (pun unintended) to me.

Here's to being safe and responsible while getting way too attached to everyone I have any sort of attraction to. 💋
